As Recruiter, you will manage the overall function of the recruitment and fulfillment process. This includes working with the sales and recruitment teams to determine places to recruit, working with the hiring client to understand needs and screening potential candidates to effectively identity qualified candidates for referral to employers, resulting in their hire.

Successful Elements:

  • Implement recruiting processes and initiatives
  • Receive and review resumes of job applicants
  • Screen applicants for job openings
  • Attend job fairs, networking events and information sessions for hiring
  • Develop contacts at colleges and universities
  • Communicate with team regarding position openings
  • Make suggestions of improvement to recruitment and sales teams
  • Communicate with leadership regarding all postings and openings
  • Obtain all resumes and customer information forms for customers
  • Build and coordinate a pipeline of qualified jobseekers through recruitment events, reengagement of Individual Training Grant customers, Community Based Organization referrals, walk-in traffic and direct advertising
  • Work with the leadership team to plan, implement and track customized recruitment projects to meet the specific needs of each business client
  • Maintain a pipeline of candidates per industry
  • Initiate a high level of engagement and reengagement of clients via phone and email
  • Manage onsite and offsite recruitment events on behalf of employers
  • Understand, in detail, the needs of business clients regarding their open job opportunities
  • Assess jobseekers’ skills and job readiness
  • Reach weekly and quarterly goals by maintaining high activity levels
  • Track progress for weekly reports
  • Enter employment information into database with 24 hours

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer systems
  • At least five years of professional experience in recruiting, account management or a related business relationship management capacity
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
