We are seeking compassionate and team-oriented individuals to join our spirited team.

As Job Club Coordinator, you will provide leadership, guidance and motivation to program participants involved in job search activities. You will also maintain participant communication to assist the Career Navigators in the attainment of the office’s goals.

Successful Elements:

  • Maintain direct contact with all participants who have successfully completed job readiness training
  • Provide job search assistance for participants in Job Club including: preparation of resumes, cover letters, applications and preparing for interviews
  • Facilitate Job Club hours for participants to devote time in their day to conduct structured job search activities
  • Consistently communicate with the Career Navigator regarding the activity and progress of each participant
  • Address/Identify participants’ employment barriers prior to interview opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between the Instructors and Career Navigators to coordinate information, interviews and appointments
  • Remain on call in computer lab to assist participants as needs arise 
  • Provide consistent reports to Career Navigators regarding: participant attendance, Job Club activity timesheets and other requested information
  • Devise a weekly job search schedule with participants. This includes:reviewing and confirming activities, providing suggestions, and proposing next steps for the following week
  • Assist participants with approaching the job market strategically
  • Ensure all Job Club equipment is maintained and in working order

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

  • Experience in business, sales, training/instructing and management
  • Must have experience in team-oriented environment

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area
