As Community Partner Coordinator, you will oversee the Community Partner Program. You will also build relationships with community based organizations to understand partner organizations and develop database and processes to refer participants to job readiness services and support.

 

 

Successful Elements:

  • Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
  • Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Communicate with other departments and management to develop strategy and solutions
  • Coordinate referrals and progress of program participants
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Act as liaison between various departments to meet participant needs
  • Identify bridge training, vocational training and other support services
  • Work closely with the Career Navigators to make sure that the labor market is adequately represented
  • Represent EDSI services to the community, host roundtables, and monthly community-based organization meetings

 

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

  • Experience in business, sales, training, interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Leadership experience a plus

 Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area
